The California Department of Education offers the Pathways to Biliteracy recognition program for students in preschool, kindergarten, elementary, middle school who have demonstrated progress towards bilingual and biliterate proficiency. Graduating high school students have the opportunity to earn the State Seal of Biliteracy.
